This is a puzzle within a puzzle, consisting of two different puzzles that can be completed separately or together. It features photography by KangHee Kim, translated into a custom puzzle shape to mirror the image-within-an-image.

Why we love it

These puzzles frames as art and make fabulous conversation starters. We especially love that it’s an activity we could do with our loved ones. Some may find the process meditative, we think it’s great at testing our patience, and the joy at the end was oh so sweet!

About the artist

The photographer behind the puzzle images is KangHee Kim, a South Korean photographer and artist based in Brooklyn. Most widely known by her Instagram handle, @tinycactus, her images of “surreal escapism” have since become a form of visual therapy, navigating the line between the everyday and fantasy.
